Abstract

Addendum to the Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Proposed Bridge Replacement at Hembree Road over Foe Killer Creek, Fulton County, Georgia. The following changes have been made since the CE was signed: 1. The project length has decreased from 0.21 mile to approximately 0.18 mile. 2. There have been changes to the amount of right-of-way and temporary easement. The proposed project would require approximately 0.65 acre of right-of-way, 0.15 acre of temporary easement, and 0.59 acre of permanent easement. 3. The approved CE stated that traffic would be maintained on the existing bridge during construction. The traffic would not be detoured to an off-site detour. The proposed detour would be Hembree Road to Elkins Road to SR 120/SR 9. 4. The bridge width has increased from 40 feet to approximately 42.5 feet. The bridge typical section will be 28 feet gutter to gutter, six-foot sidewalks, and 1.25-foot parapet. The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing and required right-of-way as described above.
