Abstract

The Jack Phillips tract is located in Dekalb County, Georgia. Proposed wetland restoration activities are expected to enhance the ecological and hydrological functions of the proposed mitigation areas. They include the restoration of a 200 foot riparian buffer along 13,235 linear feet of the South River and will involve minor grading and planting of native shrubs and trees. The Jack Phillips tract is located on the northeast bank of the South River in Dekalb County. The tract consists of approximately 20 acres running along the river bank for approximately 2000 feet. The Jack Phillips tract is situated between two bends in the river and is bounded by a single family home on the south end and a housing subdivision on the northern end.
