The proposed project consists of traffic signal upgrades at five intersections along SR 54 in Fayette County. This project would improve the overall efficiency and safety of traffic flow due to upgraded traffic signal displays and state-of-the-art traffic signal control equipment and provide better signal coordination through new signal interconnection cable and improve pedestrian safety with improved crosswalk, pedestrian signals, and sidewalk ramps where appropriate at the following intersections: 1. SR 54 at Ginger Cake Rd. and Birch Rd. 2. SR 54 at Shiloh Rd. and Summer Rd. 3. SR 54 at Walt Banks Rd. and Carriage Lane.
