Abstract

Original: The proposed project would consist of the installation of the GDOT NaviGAtor system along SR 400 from the SR 120/Old Milton Parkway interchange to the SR 20/Buford Highway interchange for a total of 12 miles. Included in the proposed project would be four changeable message signs (CMS), vehicle detection coverage (VDC), closed circuit television cameras (CCTV), fiber optic trunk lines, and ramp meters. This project would extend the fiber trunk line along SR 400 from SR 120/Old Milton Parkway to the northern project limit at SR 20/Buford Highway. Addendum: The new project limits are from 300' south of Kimball Bridge Road to 200' north of Shiloh Road. The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing ROW as described above.
