Abstract

Project Location and Area of Potential Effect: County(ies): Bibb; USGS Quadrangle(s) Macon West; Project Description: The project consists of an extension of the original Bloomfield Road corridor onto Rocky Creek Road which intersects Bloomfield Road at its southern terminus. The original corridor was surveyed in 1998 (Hamby 1998) and consisted of a 2.82 mile corridor along Log Cabin/Bloomfield Road. The extension is less than 150 feet in length and is contained within existing right-of-way on the south side of Rocky Creek Road. The area is developed, with paving and structures along the entire corridor length;. Area of Potential Effect: The area of potential effect consists solely of the 150 feet along the south side of Rocky Creek Road, extending east from the intersection with Bloomfield Road.
