USGS Quadrangle(s): Jackson, McDonough, Stockbridge Project Description: The proposed project would consist of traffic signal upgrades at four intersections within Henry and Butts Counties, Georgia. The proposed project would improve the overall efficiency and safety of traffic flow due to upgraded traffic signal displays and state-of-the-art traffic signal control equipment and provide better signal coordination through new signal interconnection cable and improve pedestrian safety with improved crosswalk, pedestrian signals and sidewalk ramps where appropriate at the following intersections: SR 42 at Flippen Road in Stockbridge SR 42 at East Atlanta Road in StockbridgeSR 155 at Lawrenceville Street in McDonough SR 16 at Peachtree Street in Jackson. Area of Potential Effect The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing right-of-way as described above.
