On December 14, 2006, URS Corporation performed a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed SRI 1/US 129 bridge replacement over Bluff Creek in Pulaski County, Georgia. As a result of the survey, one site and one isolated find were recorded. Neither resource was delineated beyond the APE, therefore the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility for each is considered unknown. However, the portion of the one site falling within the APE is considered contributing and thus has been recommended potentially eligible for listing in the NRHJ, while the known portion of IF-1 within the APE is considered noncontributing (not eligible).
