Abstract

The project is a Phase I Archaeological Survey of the impact area for proposed streetscape improvements in East Atlanta. Planned improvements are within existing right-of-way along four road corridors. The Area Potential Effect includes an 818 foot section of Glenwood Avenue between Brownwood Avenue and Flat Shoals Avenue, a 4.07 foot section of Joseph Avenue between Portland Avenue and Glenwood Avenue, a 661 foot section of Flat Shoals Avenue between Metropolitan and McPherson Avenue, and 661 feet along McPherson Avenue between Flat Shoals and Moreland Avenue. The right-of-way width is the existing road right-of-way.
