Abstract

The original proposed project would consist of constructing exclusive left turn lanes onto CR 100/Pat Colwell Road and CR 200/Pat Haralson Drive, with a 610-foot long two-way left turn lane. CR 100/Pat Colwell Road and CR 200/Pat Haralson Drive would both have a 200-foot long right turn lane constructed onto SR 11/US 129. Existing ROW on SR 11/US 129 is approximately 100 feet, existing ROW on CR 100/Pat Colwell Road is approximately 60 feet and existing ROW on CR 200/Pat Haralson is approximately 80 feet. Required ROW on CR 100/Pat Colwell Road varies from approximately 55 feet to approximately 28 feet. Required ROW along CR 200/Pat Haralson Drive varies from approximately 88 feet to approximately 22 feet. The approved reevaluation stated that approximately 3.054 acres of right-of-way would be required. Since that time, minor changes to the design of the project have been made due to more detailed design plans. The proposed project would require approximately 2.532 acres, 0.68 acre of permanent easement, and 0.132 acre of temporary easement. In addition, the previous Reevaluation did not account for the changes in the project length. Since the approved Categorical Exclusion (approved January 26, 2006), the project lengths have changed.
