Abstract

New South Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of a 90 acre act of land in Harris and Muscogee Counties from August 18' to 23rd, 2000. The project area is located immediately east of Interstate 185 and straddles the Harris-Muscogee County line. The survey did not locate any archaeological sites during the survey, but did locate two historic structures. Both were barns that date to the 1920s and 1940s respectively. The barns do not appear to be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and no further work is recommended.
