Observation of the Laying of an Underground Water Pipeline Across the Leake Archaeological Site (9BR2), Bartow County, Georgia

At the direction of the State Archaeologist I proceeded to the site on March 24, 1977. From that date until March 31st. I observed the digging of a ditch for the installation of the pipeline across the Site. No archaeological resources of such significance as to warrant delaying the project at any point were observed or recorded. The ditch is assessed not to have been intrusive on the archaeological resources of the site.
