Abstract

Project BRMLB-2210(1) would replace the structurally deficient bridge over Turkey Creek on CR 246 in Ben Hill County. The bridge would be replaced on existing alignment beginning approximately 91.4 meters (300 feet) and ending approximately 82.2 meters (270 feet) from the existing bridge structure. The existing right-of-way on CR 246 is approximately 18.3 meters (60 feet), while the additional required right-of-way will be approximately 24.3 meters (80 feet). An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted for the entire 173.7meter (570 foot) project corridor. No existing or eligible National Register archaeological resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
