No archaeological evidence was encountered, construction was in progress on this project and consisted of tearing out one side of the two-lane road (Ga. 74), laying a pipeline underneath and resurfacing the road. The project area is commercial-residential and is crossed by Rocky Creek. The creek area on both sides of the road was also surveyed, but only the terrain within 10 to 20 feet of the creek could be viewed because of dense, marshy underbrush.
