Abstract

The proposed project consists of the extension of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from its intersection with Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue south to Galilee Church Road. The proposed project would realign Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and place the road on new location through its entire 0.49 mile length south of Martin Luther King Boulevard. The proposed typical section for the new roadway would be two 12-foot travel lanes with rural shoulders and a ROW width of 80 feet. The proposed project would intersect Galilee Church Road at a point approximately 100 feet west of its existing intersection location.
