Abstract

Archaeological investigation at the Gould-Bethel cemetery in Chatham County, Georgia was provided by the LAMAR Institute, Savannah, Georgia. This work included topographic mapping of the site, digital photography, and Ground Penetrating Radar survey of a sample of the site. Fieldwork for this project was conducted on April 1 and 2, 2006. These results are detailed in this report. The LAMAR Institute's survey team was led by Daniel T. Elliott. Mr. Elliott was assisted by Rita Folse Elliott and Daniel Battle. Substantial volunteer support was provided by Carl, Mike and Chica Arndt, and Walter and Janet Gould.
