Report on Monitoring of Pipeline Construction in the Chickamauga National Military Park, Walker County

Monitoring of the Chickamauga Park water pipeline was conducted in mid-June 1979. The purposes of the project were to salvage and document any Civil War material, locate evidence of Spanish-American War campsites and World War I cantonments, and to record road cross sections. Of the above stated purposes that a recording road cross sections assumed primary importance.
