New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed Northmont-Commerce Connector north and south links on May 28, 1998. The northern link is approximately 1,000 feet long while the southern link is 600 feet in length. No previously recorded archaeological sites were recorded as lying in or immediately adjacent to the study corridors. No archaeological sites were discovered by the survey and no further archaeological study of the northern and southern links of the Connector is recommended.
