The proposed project would consist of the replacement of an existing concrete sidewalk 580 meters (1,903 ft.) in length along the north side of Main Street (US 280) from Broad Street to Peters Street in Claxton, Georgia. The existing sidewalks would be replaced with concrete unit pavers to match previous streetscape improvements. The project would also include pedestrian-scale street lighting and pedestrian amenities such as benches and trash receptacles.
