A reconnaissance archaeological survey was conducted within an approximately 7.61 hectare (18.80 acre) tract in Gwinnett County, Georgia, for a proposed retail development center wetland mitigation site during October of 1996. The investigation was conducted for Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Incorporated. No archaeological sites were located within the proposed wetland mitigation area. No further cultural resource management consideration is recommended for this site. This proposed wetland mitigation project will not affect archaeological resources on or eligible for listing in the National Register.
