Abstract

Project PESP-56 Loop proposes to relocate a portion of 56 Loop (New Savannah Road). The project will begin 700+ feet (on existing alignment) south of the Tobacco Road Intersection; continue northerly from this Intersection (on new alignment); span Butler Creek with a new concrete bridge; and terminate at existing 56 Loop, a total distance of 1.506 miles. This project section will utilize a rural typical section consisting of 2-12' contiguous travel lanes (one in each direction) with 10' shoulders, and the facility will be free access. Project PR-865 proposes to relocate a portion of County Road 1508 (Corps of Engineers Lock and Dam Road). The project will begin at a point on the northern most curve of CR 1508 (on existing alignment); continue northerly from that point (on new alignment); and terminate at the south end of the existing Butler Creek Bridge on 56 Loop, a total distance of 0.399 mile. This project section will utilize a rural typical section consisting of 2-10' contiguous travel lanes (one in each direction) with 5' shoulders, and the facility will be free access.
