New South Associates, Inc. conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey along a proposed sewer line corridor at the Georgia Northwestern Technical College in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. The corridor extends approximately 792 meters (2,600 Ft.), starting at Dietz Road and ending just north of West Chickamauga Creek, approximately 55 meters (180Ft.) south of Cloud Springs Road. The survey consisted of a walkover, surface survey, and shovel testing along one transect following the centerline of the corridor. No archaeological sites or isolates were encountered during the survey.
