I was requested to conduct a cultural resource assessment of the proposed expansion of the Water Treatment Plant of McCaysville, Fannin County, Georgia, by Jordan, Jones and Goulding, Inc ., of Atlanta, Georgia. On April 6, 1978, with the aid of Mr. William Jordan and Mr. Gerald J. Bohn, I conducted an intensive surface and subsurface survey of the 1 1/4 acre tract in Fannin County illustrated in Figure1. No cultural resources, eligible or not for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places, were recorded.
