The proposed project would construct a right turn lane off of SR 7/US 41 (Ashley Street) onto SR 31/US 221 (East Park Street). The project would begin on SR 7/US 41 approximately 103.6 meters (340 feet) south of SR 31/US 221 then continue northerly along SR 7/US 41 to an end point at SR 31/US 221. The existing right-of-way on SR 7/US 41 is approximately 18.2 meters (60 feet), while he proposed additional required right-of-way will be 4.5 meters (15 feet) on the east side of SR 7/US 41 only. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed rights-of-way was conducted for the entire project corridor.
