Abstract

This project consists of a Phase I Archaeological Survey for a proposed turn lane on the west side of the intersection of two state routes in Decatur County. The proposed project requires acquiring 0.164 acres of ROW, and would consist of reconstructing and rehabilitating by adding a right turn lane at SR 38/US 84@ SR 1/US 27 Southbound Off Ramp and a deceleration lane on SR 38/US 84 as needed. SR 1/US 27, also known as Colquitt Highway, is located just northwest of the downtown district of Bainbridge, Georgia, and SR 38/US 84, also known as Dothan Road, runs primarily east and west through Decatur County, in the 15th Land District, Land Lot No. 335 and 370 and within Ga. Military District 1805. The UTM Zone is 17.
