The archaeological monitor spent ninety percent of her time monitoring MARTA construction during the month of October 15 - November 15, 1980. Ten percent of her time was spent in historical research and report writing.
The following is a brief area by area description of MARTA construction during . the past month, and of any archaeological features uncovered through excavation. All archaeological features were recorded on feature forms, photographed and sampled, when possible. A detailed description of the archaeological features, statements on their significance and recommendations concerning the features may be found in Appendix A of this report.
