Abstract

In July 1992, New South Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the SR 120 road widening project for Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc. The project consists of the symmetrical widening and reconstruction of SR 120 between SR 9 and SR 400. A check of the Georgia state site files failed to located any sites in the proposed right-of-way, but did identify 6 sites within the project vicinity. None of these recorded sites were determined eligible for the National Register. The present project discovered two new sites and none of these are judged eligible for inclusion to the National Register.
