Abstract

"In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project BRZ-101(2), Echols Co., has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor.

Plans indicate that the bridge over Perch Creek on C.R. #36 will be replaced. The approach from the east will begin approximately 1,900' east of the existing bridge. The approach from the west will involve up to 950' west of the existing bridge. The entire project will be conducted within the existing 80' of right-of-way.
