Abstract

The proposed project would include the milling, patching, leveling, re-surfacing, shoulder building, and installation of loops and pavement markings along SR 11 in Barrow County, Georgia. The proposed project would begin on SR 11 at Scott Creek Bridge and continue northerly to an end point at SR 8/SR 53 (generally from MP 0.7 to MP 5.87). All project construction will be restricted to within the existing right-of-way. Pursuant to the revised 2007 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
