Abstract

"In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project F-002-6(27), Hall Co., has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor.

This is the widening of a segment of U.S. 129 from two to three lanes. The project will run from just north of Old Clark's Bridge Road to the U.S. 129/Lake Hill Drive intersection and will be built within the existing 50 feet of right-of-way. There will be minor construction easements.
