Abstract

“In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments, thereto, project BRZLB-157(2), Jackson County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor. The culvert on C.R. #167 over Indian Creek will be replaced. The project will begin 400' south of the creek and will terminate 400' north of the creek. An 80' corridor was surveyed for the project length.
