Abstract

Project IM-NH-475-2(206)CT. 2 in Bibb County would consist of the installation of two changeable message signs. The first sign would be installed 500ft. (152.4 m) north of milepost 182 on the southbound side of l-75 north of Macon. The second sign would be installed 200ft. (60.96 m) north of milepost 152 on the northbound side ofl-75 south of Macon. The outside sign support posts would be installed approximately 18 feet (5.49 m) from the edge of the travel lanes. The inside support posts on the northern sign would be installed within the concrete barrier, while the inside support post on the southern sign would be installed within the grassed median. Approximately 50 feet (15.24 m) of guardrail would be installed approximately 12 feet (3 .66 m) from the travel lanes on the outside shoulder at each sign. All work would be accomplished within the existing 300 feet (91.44 m) of right-of-way and no additional right-of-way is required.
