Location: Muse Bridge Road - Bridge and Approaches over Little Tallapoosa River near Sand Hill, Georgia.
Purpose: Replace existing 54' x 15' timber bridge with a 153' x 31' concrete bridge. The concrete bridge will be built on new location to provide safer approaches to the crossing. The old bridge will be removed upon completion of construction. Activity: Place approximately 5974 cubic yards of fill material below the 100 year flood elevation covering approximately 0.599 acres. Fill material will be obtained from high land sources in the vicinity of the project. Erosion control will be grassing on shoulders and slopes and stone rip rap at bridge end rolls.
