Abstract

The project consists of the widening of S.R. 26/ U.S. 80 (known locally as Saffold Drive) from west of the Wilmington River bridge to S.R. 367 for a distance of l .62 miles. The existing two lane facility will be widened to four lanes, including the bridges over the Wilmington River and Grays Creek. Three marinas are located around the bridge, but the project mainly runs through marshland and undeveloped property.
