Abstract

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project F-037-2(25), Henry Co., has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor.

This is the reevaluation of the revised section of the above referenced project. This section runs from just inside the Stockbridge east city limits to just east of the S.R. 138/U.S. 23 intersection on U.S. 23. The length is about 1 mile and a right-of-way of 150 feet is required.
