I-75 Bridge Widening Projects: I-75-3(103) Catoosa County, I-75-3(101) Gordon County, I-75-3(102) Whitfield County A total of 46 bridges will be widened on I-75 in the above counties. As all work will be done within the existing right-of-way there should not be any further disruption of the State's archaeological resources. These three projects will consist of widening the existing concrete bridges on Interstate 75 in Catoosa, Gordon, and Whitfield counties. A total of 46 bridges will be widened in the north and south bound lanes. This work will be done to bring the bridges up to interstate geometric design standards. All work will be within the existing R-0-W, on areas which have been previously disturbed during the original construction of Interstate 75. It is anticipated that no significant archaeological sites will be found in the projects area. Attached are three county maps showing the location of the subject projects.
