An intensive cultural resources survey of a proposed transmission line in Franklin County, Georgia resulted in locating no new archaeological sites. The area of potential effect includes the 501 m (1645 ft) by 22 m (75 ft) transmission line corridor, the view shed around the corridor and any nearby structures. Two houses in the vicinity of the survey area that are older than 50 years were recorded and documented. These structures are recommended as not eligible to the National Register of Historic Places. Since no historic properties were identified in the area of potential effect, no additional archeological or historical investigations are warranted.
