Abstract

The proposed project would consist of the milling, leveling, resurfacing, shoulder paving, shoulder building, and placement of pavement markings on SR 39 in Seminole/Miller/Early Counties, Georgia. The proposed project would begin on SR 39 at Broome Avenue and continue northerly to an end point at SR 273 (generally MP 18.9 to MP 4.1). All work will be restricted to within the existing right-of-way. Pursuant to the February 2000 memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
