Phillip Scarborough, District 2 Environmentalist, has reviewed the above referenced 0.57± acre borrow pit for wetlands, threatened and endangered species, archaeological resources, and historical resources. The above referenced borrow pit is located approximately 0.1 mile north of C.R. 259 in Dodge County. Mr. Scarborough recommended environmental clearance and the Office of Environment/ Location concurs with this recommendation. This site is approved for use with the understanding that all applicable permits have been applied for. In addition, the appropriate erosion control measures will also be implemented and properly maintained in order to prevent run-off.
