This is a bridge project, BHF-017-3(54), located in Floyd and Chattooga Counties. The two bridges are on SR 1/ US 27 and crosses Armuchee Creek and Little Armuchee Creek. The existing structure over Armuchee Creel is a 28 feet wide by 192 feet long bridge in Floyd County. The existing structure over Little Armuchee Creek is a 28 feet wide by 82 feet long bridge in Chattooga County. The existing ROW at both sites is 130 feet. The proposed construction would include end rolls at both sites measuring 200 to 300 feet at each end of the bridges. New parallel bridges would be built which measure 41.3 feet wide by 192 feet long at Armuchee Creek and which measures 41.3 feet wide by 82 feet long at Little Armuchee Creek. The existing bridges are to be widened to 41.3 feet. The required additional ROW would 45 feet on the east side.
