Abstract

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project BHF-151-1(2), Murray County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor. The project proposes to widen two bridges over Holly Creek and an overflow thereof on S.R. 225. The project is approximately 3,000 feet long and will be constructed within the existing 100 to 115 feet of right-of-way.
