In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the following project was surveyed with respect to archaeological resources; especially those which may be eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) . The survey which entailed examination of project plans showed that the area is within existing DOT right-of-way and has been previously disturbed by rest area construction. Therefore, the project will have no impact on archaeological sites on or eligible to the NRHP.
