In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, the proposed projects has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project's area of potential environmental effect. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed projects rights-of-way was conducted for the entire length of each proposed project corridor. These projects are: ER-662(8) Bibb County, ER-763(4) Butts County, ER-748(3) Coweta County, ER-661(4) Crawford County, ER-662(9) Crawford/ Bibb Counties, and ER-1696(1) Henry County. This report maps ER-661(4) in Crawford County.
