Abstract

Project IM-59-1(25), Dade County: Determination of No Undertaking. The subject project would consist of milling, leveling, and resurfacing of I-59 in Dade County. The project would begin at the pavement joint north of SR 136 (MP 11.38) and would end at the pavement joint at the I-24 on-ramp (MP 19.24). According to 36 CFR 800. 2(0), an "undertaking'' consists of "any project, activity, or program that can result in changes in the character or use of historic properties, if any such properties are located within the proposed project's area of potential effects. This project does not have the potential to result in changes to the character or use of any historic properties, therefore, the subject project does not constitute an undertaking. This finding fulfills the Department's requirements under Section 106.
