The subject project was reviewed with respect to historic and archaeological resources. The DNR historic survey of Cherokee County and the National Register list were consulted in regard to historic resources in the project area on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register. No such resources were identified within the projects area of potential environmental effect. Because the project area is developed, with no stream crossings, the archaeological potential of the area was considered nil and a survey was therefore not required.
