Abstract

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of seven proposed bridge replacements in Coweta County on August 23 and 24, 1994. The project area consists of the limited right-of-way surrounding each existing bridge in various locations throughout Coweta County. Additional field work was conducted on March 16, 1995 to address the extended right-of-way at three of the bridges. A pedestrian survey designed to identify archaeological sites was conducted at each bridge site. No archaeological sites were located and no further archaeological study IB recommended.
