This is a bridge project, BRZLB-281(4), located in Towns County. The bridge is on County Road No. 155 and crosses Hightower Creek. The existing structure is a 35-foot-long by 12-foot-wide single span bridge with a wood deck and steel beams. There is no existing right-of-way along the road. The proposed project begins at Sta. 5+50 and extends 650 feet to Sta. 12+00. The proposed culvert is to be placed upstream approximately 35 feet from the present bridge site. No detour is required because a new alignment is required. The proposed culvert will be 38 foot of double plus triple 10 foot by 7-foot concrete bridge culvert. A total of 60 feet of right-of-way will be required.
