Abstract

The proposed ATMS expansion project would consist of the design and installation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) infrastructure and ITS sub-system components in Paulding County, Georgia. The work would occur at various locations listed on the Project Location Table (Table 1), as well as depicted on the Project Location Map (Figure 1), and would include one or more of the following elements installed either underground or aerially; conduit, fiber trunks, closed-circuit televisions (CCTVs), speed detection devices, and/or Dynamic Message Signs (DMSs). The project is not anticipated to require additional right-of-way (ROW) at this time. Total project length is approximately 30 miles.
