Abstract

Environmental Corporation of America's (ECA) client, TowerCom V, is proposing to construct a telecommunications facility as described in the following FCC Fonn 620, New Tower (NT) Submission Packet ECA understands that TowerCom V, plans to construct a 155-foot overall height monopole telecommunications structure within a 100-foot by 100-foot (30-meter by 30- meter) lease area. The proposed undertaking would be accessed by a proposed 889-foot long by 30-foot wide (271-meter by 9-meter) access/utility easement. ECA has identified and evaluated Historic Properties, if any, within the Area of Potential Effect (APE) for visual I.Uld direct effects as directed in Section Vl.D.1 and 2 of the Nationwide Programmatic Agreement, effective on March 7, 2005. We did not identify any Historic Properties listed in the, National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) within either APE. Based on our review of the Historic Resources Survey Files, National Register Files, Identified Sites Files, Centesimal Fans Files, I.Uld Environmental Review Files at the Georgia Historic Preservation Office (GA HPD) and the GNAHRGIS online database, four historic resources (44, F0-438 (41), F0-439, and F0-440) were identified within the 1/2-mile APE for visual effects. In addition, ECA identified Shady Grove Baptist Church and Lake Lanier within the 1/2-mile APE for visual effects. All identified resources are potentially eligible for listing on the NRHP.
