The proposed project will construct a second right turn lane on the Interstate 85 (1-85) southbound exit ramp and signalize the dual right turn lanes from the 1-85 southbound exit ramp onto State Route (SR) 34. A right turn on red will be prohibited. Additionally, a lane will be constructed on westbound SR 34 in a section approximately 121.9 meters (m) (400 feet [ft]) east of the 1-85 southbound exit ramp to approximately 121.9 meters (m) (400 feet [ft]) east of Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard. Right turn lanes and sidewalk will be reconstructed along this section. The total project length is approximately 1.13 kilometers (km) (0.7 miles [mi]).
