The proposed work will take place at three intersections along the Hartwell Railroad in Franklin County, Georgia (Figure 1) (Table 1). The proposed work consists of installing railroad warning devices, sidewalk modifications at the crossings, including installing new sidewalk and curb and gutter, and installation of advance warning signs and pavement marking on the existing roadway approaches. The project will take place within existing Right-of-Way (ROW), which varies throughout.
